This module covers the knowledge, skills and attitude required using the Basic English Language for communication. It includes the enhancement in constructing grammatically correct sentences following the basic sentence patterns. The learners are provided with materials to practice the correct sounds of vowels and consonants in order to pronounce the English words correctly .Stressing and intonation are included to achieve effective presentation of thoughts while speaking. The learners are provided with written tasks to improve their writing skills. Likewise the four competencies of communication – speaking, reading, listening and writing will either be simultaneously or alternately employ during the entire course or training.
